Report History

What is Report History?

By default, The Comment Generator saves a copy of the reports. This allows you to see your previously generated reports, make changes to them and download them to your computer.

How to Use Report History

On the top navigation bar, click the "History" link to see a history of the reports you have generated on this computer. Clicking the "View" button will show you all the reports you have generated.

In addition, whenever you open The Comment Generator, if you have already generated reports for a particular comment bank and class, you will see them at the bottom of the page. Click on a student's name to recall that report. Doing so will also set the generator's inputs to how they were when you generated the report.

Clearing and Disabling Report History

After clicking the "History" link at the top of the page, you can clear any reports you no longer want. You can also clear the entire history stored in our database. If you don't want The Comment Generator to save a history click on the "Enable History" toggle at the top of this page. Please note that turning this feature off will also delete all saved reports from our database.

Downloading Reports

On either the History page or while using the Comment Generator, you can click the "Download" buttons to download a copy of your reports in either text, spreadsheet or PDF format.
